The Portsmouth based entertainer even won an X FACTOR style competition whilst holidaying in Cape Verde. Over the years he has shrugged off compliments from the public and friends, saying he should turn professional, but never took it seriously, until one summer afternoon in 2017 when a friend and fellow performer Phil, TOLD him that they were going to do a rat pack show together.
